Communication Handbook for Refugee Work

It is often not the trained communicators, but people with a background in law or social work, who must perform the most difficult communication job of all: informing refugees about their options. Refugees might be on the move, traumatised, illiterate or distrustful of institutional information sources.

UNHCR has tasked Transcultural Campaigning to develop a practical guide to Communication for communities in the North African refugee context.

Available in English, French and Arabic.
